WHEN YOU INVITE OTHERS TO CHOOSE YOUR TRANSPORT
In late April 2014, just 7 days after completing an expedition across Chile, Dave left the German town of Germersheim following a non-motorised transport show called the Spezialradmesse, or Spezi for short.
Rather than flying to the UK after the show, Dave asked his social media family to vote for a form of transport on which he could make the return journey on, and they overlooked the Varibike and Troytec Revolution Low Rider to choose the ICE Trike Sprint.
23 days and 1106 miles later, Dave reached Falmouth, Cornwall, having travelled though four countries, with the route itself being determined by social media interaction, chance and a little bit of luck.
Why? Because adventure is just decision, and breaking down the simplicity of setting off on a big, life-changing journey means just one thing: having a good old positive attitude.
